In 2003 Tyler starting out making music with some exceptionally patient friends in his 1 bedroom apartment located in Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. While attending University of Colorado Denver Tyler became deeply immersed in recording and mixing largely due to being in the Recording Arts program at the university. At school he would learn how to cut to 2" analog tape, calibrate meters, run ProTools, mic an orchestra and other traditional audio theory related projects. At home he worked with just about every rapper in the city and surrounding suburbs to make their tracks bang.

A few years after graduating college Tyler was called upon by producer and studio owner Adelio Lombardi in hopes of getting his new space Side 3 running smoothly and professionally. Tyler had the honor of managing and engineering at Side 3 Studios since from 2007 to 2018. Being a critical part to Side 3's success he had the opportunity to work on many platinum and gold records, and with the biggest names in the music industry. Artists include: Steve Smith, DJ Frank E, Kanye West, B.o.B., Pharoahe Monch, Dave Lieban, Hiromi, Tom Coster, Vinny Valentino, bei maejor, T- Pain, Paul Wall, Nelson Rangell, Ron Miles, Plies, and Ty Burhoe. While managing the studio he oversaw the business interactions with clients like: MTV, Universal Records, Sony Records, Young The Giant, Lil Wayne, Idina Menzel, Comedy Central, NBC Sports, Ed Sheeran, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and many others.

Tyler has built, wired, rewired, reconfigured, and managed many recording studios since 2002. From 5.1 mixing suites, to analog Neve tracking studios, to education facilities and labs Tyler has spent most of his career helping others get their project, space and art to the next level. He maintained a professional relationship with University of Colorado at Denver, in addition to teaching and designing the live sound course and acting as a consultant for the audio program at Arapahoe Community College during his time living in Colorado.

Recently Tyler recorded and mixed all the music for the animation movie “BLUE GIANT” to be released through TOHO Cinema on Feb 17, 2023. The score was composed by Hiromi Uehara and the soundtrack to this movie released through Universal Japan.
